AU Audio Technology Student Wins Best Presentation at DC Scientific Meeting

American University Masters student in Audio Technology Jack Anthony presented his graduate research Monday, October 29, and the DC Chapter Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, the premiere professional scientific organization for the study of sound and hearing. Jack won first place (and a $150 prize) in the Best Student Presentation competition for his paper entitled “Timbral dimensions of cross-modal perception.” Jack also won the ATEC program’s research award last spring and was awarded an Audio Engineering Society Foundation scholarship this fall. Congratulations, Jack!
